Email Marketing – How to start

Welcome back!

Email marketing is so important to companies these days, it is accepted that if you are not doing this then you are losing out big time where revenues are concerned.

If your intentions are for no profit reasons then it is still important. You don’t interact with your readers – they will disappear. There are no doubt many different interpretations that you can attach here, so I will be brief initially, and then expand in another post.

Successful Email Marketing – How It’s Done

Eight critical factors :

1. Will my Email be opened?
2.Is my first sentence or lead introduction going to get their attention or fail ?
3. Will my lead sentence or paragraph hold attention – is it going to be engaging?
4. Is my email copy giving the impression of being conversational?
5. Is the tone of the communication right ?
6.Is the text formatted properly to be easy on the eye ?
7. Does it appeal to everyone or a particular type of person.
8 .Is the copy persuasive? Will the reader take action ?

Finally, a fundamental issue that you may not initally consider as a beginner is measuring the response. Of course even the best copy writers won’t get a 100% response. However, you need to track the results. There are tools for doing this in autorsponder software programs. I will expand on this.
