okay, you have no clue about html but want to get a site online. Well the easiest way is to set up an online blog. It is not the best way but let us stick to easy. You can set up a blogger account easily.

You can set up a blog directly at the blogger site or host a blog on you own domain. Okay, go to Blogger.com.

If you don’t already have a Google account when you start the signup you will be asked to create one.For the title of the blog, you want to include your main keywords.

Also, when typing in a URL try to include the main keyword(s). You will have a number of templates to choose from and if you regret your choice, it can be easily amended after creation.

The whole process takes a few minutes but we need to adjust settings available before making that first post to the world !

When the blog is ready, look for the settings tab. In the description box you will make sure the main keyword will be there as well as a few secondary words that connect to your overall theme.

There are no other settings worth changing for now, unless you want a private blog which does not get noticed by search engine bots.

In this way it can be a private resource, or you leave the settings if you want to start the process of blog marketing.

The one thing you can be sure of is that it is consitent and repeated actions that bring results for blog marketing.

What is your blog about ?

Is it fun or gossip oriented ? Or do you have a business function and offer solutions to problems. You must provide some kind of resource value.

Keep a central theme for your audience. Not just what you think is a good idea. You can guest post yourself on othe blogs with similar niche or theme. You get a backlink if you offer relevant and useful information.

This is something to do with other higher traffic blogs on a slow but sure basis. You get links and they appreciate your content. In fact some blogs have a most frequent post facility or widget, listing those offering most content posts. That means exposure for you.

Title Tags

Modifying wordpress title tags within the pages that you will create directly affects the SEO of your entire wordpress blog.

To ensure that these are set up correctly you will need to modify the header.php page associated with the current wordpress theme you are using.

Note: Some of the newer wordpress themes are already optimized for SEO, however it’s important to check to ensure that they are before you begin to use the theme.

To do this, click on DESIGN and then click on Theme Editor.

You will see a listing of files associated with your current theme. Look for the one titled “header.php” and click on it to load the code into the editing window.

In order to edit any pages of your theme, you will have to change the permissions of the file by logging into your FTP, clicking on the header.php page and setting the permissions to 777, so it can be writeable (changed).

Once you have made the changes, you can set the permissions back to their default settings.

Within this header.php file, you want to replace the code that is contained within the tag with the following:

Like I mentioned previously, check the current page before modifying it as it may already be optimized this way.

There are a few things to keep in mind when you are entering in titles for your blog posts and pages.

Google only shows the first 70 characters of your title within search results, so be sure to include your most important keywords within each title, stripping away any clutter.

You should also focus on using different page titles for each post, and avoid using the same keyword at the start of every page title as well to optimise the wordpress seo results.

Mix it up and be creative with your titles while remaining consistent and taking measures to ensure that each of your titles directly describes the content of each particular page.

If you are good with editing CSS and HTML, you could choose to purchase one of the more popular premium themes such as the widely used “Revolution” theme by Brian Gardner, but I only suggest using these themes if you have the ability to customize them so they don’t look like the thousands of others using them.

There is, it seems, no limit to what one can do with the help of blogs. Even the smallest aspect of your daily personal life like recording journal entries has been given an entirely new dimension.

Post Title: A catchy post title or headline  can glue a reader to your post almost immediately. However, do not put misleading post titles, or you will lose creditability.So, be consistent with your blog content and watch traffic flowing in to your blog.
